Disability Inclusivity fratenity sent into mourning

The disability inclusivity community is mourning the loss of Godfrey Dzveta, a prominent advocate for Persons with Disabilities in Zimbabwe, who died suddenly on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Mr Dzveta was the driving force behind the Tariro Foundation, an Organisation for Persons with Disabilities (OPD) in Mutare which he founded and directed. His recent work included involvement in the EQuaLISED Project, a programme implemented by Regional Psychosocial Support Initiative (REPSSI) and funded by CBM Global.

He passed away in a lodge in Kadoma, where he was staying while on business participating in a training workshop.
